slow cooked simple spare ribs

We got a package of spare ribs from our friends at Butcher Box and I couldn’t wait to get to work making them fall off the bone delicious.

My goal these days is to keep things in the kitchen simple, but I never want to sacrifice flavor or nutrition. That said, these took moments of “work” and they are delicious! Ribs should fall off the bone, and these not only take little effort to make, they also don’t take a bunch of work to eat. Fall off the bone moist with all the flavor you could ask for, and none of the junky sugars you might find in other ribs.

You’ll need to start it around lunch time, but it takes just moments. I simply threw them in the Vitaclay (you can use any slow cooker), tossed in the rest of the ingredients, set it, and continued on with my day. 4-ish hours later, we had tender ribs paired with bone broth rice and air fryer green beans. Like I said, minimal work, so much flavor.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as we did! We’ll certainly revisit again and again.
